Debs is a retired Colonel and served 26 years in the Army where she specialised in training development, HR and military policing.
She retired as a Deputy Chief of the Royal Military Police. She held leadership roles in peacetime and in war and she has combat experience on multinational and tri-Service operations in the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan. When she left the Army, Debs was employed in a senior leadership position in the NHS where she managed a number of complex transformation programmes. Since then she has gained a wealth of consultancy experience in training development and delivery. She is driven by improving workforce experience and output through increased resilience and resourcefulness.
As an engaging, creative and experienced facilitator, Debs has a confident and gently challenging style. She engenders commitment, drives change, and develops others towards exceptional performance. She has been mentoring and coaching throughout her career and is trained in NLP and executive coaching and mentoring. Debs specialises in supporting clients to resolve tricky situations and clarify desired outcomes; often through creating more positive relationships and improved self-awareness and resourcefulness.
In her spare time Debs is a Director for a local music festival and she enjoys long distance walking and trips away in the campervan with her terrier.
She joined True North in 2019.
