Roger Barber

Roger has been involved with a considerable number of sourcing projects in a wide range of sectors for organisations throughout the world.  He is undoubtedly a world class expert.


His true expertise has enabled organisations to achieve both valuable and sustainable improvements through business transformation strategies.

Roger specialises in best practice. He believes it is crucial that clients understand best practice continually evolves.  He has worked in a diverse range of areas including:  printing, publishing, industrial gas, engineering, meat rearing, processing, shipping and retail.

His professional achievements are numerous. He describes his greatest as actively supporting the British Council, in 2003  to help determine their approach to outsourcing the provision of a global financial & administration to 250 locations in over 100 countries.

Recently, Roger worked at Equa Terra, developing and implementing outsourcing advisory services. He also managed a special interest group focusing on the development of outsourcing contracts to ensure that emerging EU and UK regulations and case law, especially in HR and intellectual property, were reflected in their preferred terms and conditions.

In 2008 he received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in outsourcing from the National Outsourcing Association.
