Chris Halward
Chris is committed to promoting learning as a powerful way to add tangible value to an organisation and to ensure that individuals achieve their goals. Chris joined True North as Managing Director in 2006.
Chris spent his early career in audit and accountancy with KPMG followed by a 5 year period in sales and sales management.
He took up a senior appointment within the Lombard group as training and quality service manager in 1987 - and has remained in the field of individual and organisational development ever since. He is an engaging and effective trainer and facilitator along with being a highly regarded coach and mentor.
He has a particular interest and expertise in action learning and continues both to design and deliver action learning-based programmes, as well as undertaking research in the field.
Chris also has considerable experience in organisational development and change, having worked on organisational structures, culture, performance and talent management, as well as both strategic and tactical learning and development.
He has worked throughout the UK, mainland Europe, USA and the Middle East in many different sectors, all of which serves to contribute to the breadth and depth of his knowledge, experience and insight in the real issues facing organisations.
Chris has an honours degree in philosophy, and is qualified and accredited in the use of a range of psychometric tools including MBTI. Chris is an associate tutor with Middlesex University with whom he is also pursuing a masters' degree..
